The proposed Constitutional amendments were not voted on at the Annual Meeting because the required 2/3rds participation of voting memberships was not met. Any amendments to the Constitution will have to wait for the next Annual Meeting in November, 2010. The committee appointed by Commodore Bjerregaard and re-appointed by Commodore Lorna Tweedie is now working to draft proposed changes to the ABYC Constitution. Note, there are also some changes to the By-Laws related to changes to the Constitution.
